BRONX MAN FATALLY SHOT IN PARKCHESTER; POLICE SEARCH FOR SUSPECT

BRONX, New York — Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 46-year-old man Monday night in the Parkchester section of the Bronx.
According to authorities, Shaun Whitchett was shot in the head shortly after 8 p.m. near the intersection of Archer Street and White Plains Road.
Whitchett was transported to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition, where he later died from his injuries.
No arrests have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.
