Justice Clarence Thomas Seen at U.S. Capitol Ahead of Major Supreme Court Decision Day
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was seen walking through the House side of the U.S. Capitol on Thursday ahead of what is expected to be a significant day for Supreme Court rulings.
According to reporter Mychael Schnell, Thomas did not explain why he was at the Capitol and said he was meeting with “nobody.”
When asked about the court’s upcoming decisions, Thomas responded, “I guess so,” before declining to provide any preview of the rulings. Asked if he would offer a sneak peek, Thomas replied, “Nope,” with a chuckle.
The brief exchange comes as the Supreme Court prepares to issue several closely watched opinions before the end of its current term.
