KINGSTON, N.Y. — A Kingston man is facing multiple charges after police say he carried out a series of thefts involving stolen wallets and credit cards over several days.

According to authorities, 24-year-old Luke Heiser allegedly stole a wallet last Tuesday and later used the victim’s credit cards.

Investigators say the thefts continued over the following days, with Heiser accused of taking additional credit cards on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Police said the incidents occurred over a five-day period in the City of Kingston.

Heiser now faces multiple theft-related charges in connection with the investigation.

Authorities said he was arraigned and later released as the case moves forward through the court system.

The investigation remains ongoing.
