Power Outage Reported at Market 32 Plaza in Newburgh Following Apparent Transformer Failure

NEWBURGH, New York — A power outage was reported Tuesday at the Market 32 shopping plaza in Newburgh after what witnesses described as an apparent transformer failure.
According to a tip received by Urban Updatez, the transformer reportedly failed while customers were inside the store, causing the lights to suddenly go out.
The witness said multiple businesses within the shopping plaza appeared to lose power at the same time.
“It was wild… the transformer blew when we were in the store and the lights went out,” the witness told Urban Updatez. “People started bugging.”
It is not yet clear what caused the reported transformer failure or how many businesses were affected. No injuries have been reported.

Yes, another great job done by Central Hudson Gas and Electric. Double the rates they charge but do little to maintain the system. Can't charge "delivery fees" if they don't deliver what they're supposed to.
